TAA Viscount 756D VH-TVN William Dampier photographed on 29 June 1968 parked on the western boundary to the north of the Bell Helicopter hangar. Despite its immaculate condition, this is an aeroplane with only five months to go before completing its TAA service and being sold overseas. Hangars in the background are (left to right) Hangar 7 (TAA maintenance), Hangars 10 & 9 (Ansett-ANA maintenance) and the divided hangar which served as the TAA Freight terminal. At extreme right is Hangar 3, the Ansett-ANA freight terminal. The passenger terminals are hidden behind the Viscount. Photo: Kodachrome colour transparency by Ron Cuskelly (B129)
